Diet Office Management Module
The Diet Office Management module provides for total management of the Diet Office. Patient cardex, menu printing and tray line preparation as well as nourishments and assorted tallies are included in this module. Patient, menu, and recipe analysis as well as patient assessment are also available through the Diet Office Management menus. Menu/Tray tickets can be computer generated or printed on your selected pre-printed menu form.
Essential patient information is captured by the Patient Cardex program. Once entered into the system, the patient information is available to the nourishment, menu, and diet order programs. The menu file provides information to the menu print program as well as the service order reports.
Select, Non-Select and Preference Menus are supported by the Diet Office module. The Preference Program takes into account likes, dislikes, and resident allergies in generating a tray ticket for the patient.
Individual patient menus are printed based on information obtained from the patient cardex and menu files. Selective menus are filled out by the patients or hospital staff and then are sent to the tray line for preparation. Nourishment and supplement orders are created on-line. Tallies of these items can be obtained at any time.
Among the many detailed reports in Diet Office Management are the following:
Week at a Glance: This report is a spreadsheet which lists menu items for a week.
Menu Spreadsheets: You can select from five spreadsheet formats. The reports can be printed portrait or landscape with up to 14 diets on a single page.
Patient Menu/Tray Ticket: The menus are printed for each patient and contain the patient name, room, and ID number as well as the food items available for the meal. Both likes and dislikes are accounted for in the Tray Ticket print out.
Nourishment Labels and Tally: Gummed labels are produced with information describing the nourishment to be prepared, who is to receive it, and when it is to be served. The program will also provide a tally of the selected nourishments.
Patient Care Plan: This Program combines information contained in the patient cardex, diet order, nourishment, and assessment files to create this care plan report. This information includes: name, room number, address, ID number, patient orders, nourishments, and a weight chart.
Client Rosters, Beverage List, Allergy List, Fluid Needs, Birthday List, Client Dislike List, and Diet Tally are among the many additional reports available through the Diet Office Module.
